By on May 23, 2020

Making cakes can become extremely hard if you do not know the baking process. There are a lot of specialized ovens that are made only to enhance the process of baking. But all these ovens can turn out to be expensive.

Would you believe if we said that cakes can now be baked without the need for the oven? Yes, you read it right! The article here gives you a detailed overview of baking cake without an oven. Also, we have listed the recipe for Banana Cinnamon Wheat Cake. This is one of the healthiest cake recipes that you must try at home at least once.

Process of baking cake without oven

All you need is a stove, a pressure cooker, a vessel or a pan, and a stand. You need to pre-heat either of these for 10 – 15 minutes using a high flame. Once it is done, you need to place a stand to increase the height of the tin. Pour the cake batter into the tin and place it on the stand and close it with a lid.

Allow the cake to bake for 30-35 minutes in low flame. Open the lid in between and check for the consistency of the cake by piercing it with a tooth-pick. The cake should not stick to the toothpick when you pierce, and the indicates if the cake is baked completely or not. Isn’t this an easy method to bake a cake?

Banana Cinnamon Wheat Cake

Ingredients needed

• Wheat flour – 1 cup
• Baking powder – 1 tsp
• Baking soda – 1 tsp
• Medium-sized bananas – 2
• Cinnamon powder – 1 tbsp
• Refined oil – 1 cup
• Milk – 1 cup
• Jaggery – 1 cup

Procedure

• Preparation time – 10 minutes
• Baking time – 40 minutes

Take the wheat flour, baking soda, and baking powder in a mixing bowl and blend them well. Grate the jaggery and cut the ripened bananas. Add them to a blender along with milk and cinnamon sticks. Blend them until a fine paste is obtained.

Pour them into the dry ingredients little by little and blend the ingredients using the cut and fold method. Mix it well for at least 10 minutes until the mixture turns into a slightly thick batter. Also, add the refined oil into the mixture and mix it well.

Take a cake tin, spread a layer of butter sheet, and brush some oil on top of it. Take some wheat flour and dust on the sides of the tin. Pour the cake mixture and place it in the container and wait for it to get bakes completely.

Once it is completely baked, remove the tin from the vessel and allow it cool. Turn the tin upside down, and a slow pat on the bottom would bring the cake out of the tin. Garnish the cake with dry fruits if you want to. Your Banana Cinnamon Wheat Cake is now ready to be savored.
Chocolate cake, Dry fruits cake, Honey cake, and Vanilla cake are some of the other kinds of cakes that you can bake using a similar technique.23
